As you are aware, we are linked with Oasis Zimbabwe.
Monday was Zimbabwe Independence day.
We were encouraged to come to school wearing the colours from the Zimbabwe flag.
We learnt all about animals that live in Zimbabwe and had a great time team building in our house groups: lions, zebras, elephants or giraffes.
Then we had a go at sketching the animals before we used the IPADS to find out interesting information about them.
Aminah A – “I found out that lions are carnivores, which means that they only eat meat.”
Emaan – “Giraffes have long tongues.”
Amina R – “Most giraffes are about 5 m tall.”
Jumaal – “Zebras can run fast.”
